Do you have any cookies?

No.

"Cookies" are small text files saved to your temporary internet files folder by a web site, which contain information about you and are used by the site on your return to personalize your next visit.

No cookies whatsoever will be placed on your machine by irelandphoto.

Do you collect IP addresses?

Yes. irelandphoto collects IP addresses (the internet address for the company you use to connect you to the net) for system administration purposes only.

Why? - that way, we can tell which countries are visiting our site the most, so we can speak your language! . In addition, irelandphoto correspondence may include IP addresses in outgoing mail message headers. Remember - an IP address says nothing about you personally, it just tells us that we have had, say, 8,000 visits from AOL users this month.

Who is collecting information?

When you are on the irelandphoto site and are asked for personal information, you are sharing that information with irelandphoto alone. In fact, the contact area of our site is the only place you are asked for information of any kind, for the sole purpose of communicating with you.

Who is irelandphoto?

We are a partnership. We are not owned by anyone else, and we respect your privacy just as we would expect others to do likewise, should we be on their web sites.

With whom does irelandphoto share my information?

As a general rule, irelandphoto will not disclose any of your personally identifiable information except when we have your permission or under special circumstances, such as when we believe in good faith that the law requires it or in the rare eventuality of us not being able to contact you owing to innacurracies in the information you submitted (eg right postal address wrong email address), or when such innacuracies have been inadvertently introduced in our systems (eg hard disk crash, lightning strike, etc.).

What if I jump to another site from irelandphoto?

Please be aware that irelandphoto advertisers or web sites that have links on our site may collect personally identifiable information about you. The information practices of those web sites linked to irelandphoto are not covered by this privacy statement.

Where is my information physically held by irelandphoto?

We at irelandphoto check our email daily, and it is held only for as long as is necessary on our own PC here in our home in County Donegal, Ireland.

In addition, all correspondence is held on our virtual server in the US. We only use the very best virtual hosts that maintain a no adult sites and no spam policy. However, the security of information held on their servers is not the responsibility of irelandphoto, although we take every step to ensure that whoever we use has redundant firewall capacity. We are presently hosting with HostForWeb.

What else should I know about my privacy?

Please keep in mind that whenever you voluntarily disclose personal information online - for example on message boards, through email, or in chat areas - that information can be collected and used by others.
